Emily and Terry, Wedding photography at the Barn Brasserie part 1.
Emily is a very very keen photographer and so it was with some trepidation that sent her wedding pictures off in the post, knowing of course how important they would be to her. I was thrilled then to receive this lovely email from Emily after she had received the USB. Phew!
‘Wow. Wow. Wow. The photos are AMAZING! We had high expectations and you have more than surpassed them.
You are so talented — every picture is a work of art. It is incredible how well you have captured all the special moments and individual personalities as well as framing the shots so beautifully. We have so many favourites – the one with my nephew holding onto his dad’s leg, my nephew’s cheeky face while playing on the sofa, our beautiful cat’s happy smile in the garden! You had such a short amount of time to photograph us getting ready and you have somehow managed to capture it all – looking at the photographs is like reliving the morning all over again. And the same can be said for the rest of the photos…
We love love love the picture of me leading Terry out of the gallery at the end of the ceremony, the one of us kissing with the confetti, my Mum’s face in the gallery as Terry waits for me to enter, the speeches (there’s a fantastic one of my brother & I grinning at my Dad doing his speech), the gorgeous one of us walking along the lane (I bet there were a few funny ones taken with the veil in my face), the breathtaking photo of my friend swinging her little girl on the dancefloor!!! There are just too many to mention – we LOVE them all.
Thank-you so much for your incredible hard work and thank-you for ‘shooting’ our day with such artistry and flair.
We’ll be sure to leave some ‘Kind Words’ on your website.
All the best, Emily’
Congratulations Emily and Terry, childhood sweethearts who clearly fitted together like hand in glove. It was a wonderful day to photograph, a mid-week wedding which somehow always seem particularly relaxed. The Barn Brasserie, a fantastic converted barn with huge timbers and lots of glass, mixes the original charm with a contemporary twist perfectly. As always they fed me very well indeed with the delicious food they serve there. Here are a few favourites from the day.
