Documentary photography in Romania
Last week I was lucky enough to have travelled to the village of Valeni, Eastern Romania to document village life and the preparations and celebration of an Orthodox Easter in this amazing country.
Here are a few images to start off which I hope convey a small flavour of the place. The villagers of Valeni were wonderful warm-hearted people there and although quite a difficult place to get to the journey was very much worth the effort and I cant wait to go back. I shall do a few more blog posts about Valeni once I have reviewed the pictures I have brought home.
